add issue type in title of notifications?

Helllo All,

Is it possible to tune what is displayed in titles of emails notifications.
For example, we would like to display the issue type.
Can this be done at notification level?

Jira has notoriously very little in terms of options for customizing the template of notifications.

Scriptrunner won't really help you there unless you write your own scripts to take over the jira notification functionality (in which case you would have 100% control over the notification body).

Some other add-ons (like JEMH) provide some template modification ability.

Otherwise, your only option is to modify the vm template on your searver. These change will break with every future jira upgrades.
