add on to add more attachment custom field

btw - we are not a team we are a community consisting also of non-Atlassian members. ;)

There is no reason to do this. Why to store an attachment in another attachment custom field? The organisation of attachments within one issue is great implemented.

Can you explain your requirement, so I can understand you better?

The requirement is like. The issue has a workflow (initiate-approve/reject- start project..etc). The initiate has a screen which has basic details to start a project like agreement,  project scope etc  details. An admin needs to fill the detail and initiate the project once initiated a mail has to trigger to Sr.Manager. In the mail if need a approve or reject button. If approve is clicked on mail, the next step of workflow should start.

For this,

1. Different document needs to be upload in different filed of screen like agreement document filed then in the next tab of screen to upload images etc. so thought a custom attachment  can get a good look on the screen.

2. How do i implement approval through mail process?

1) This is not possible. To get such kind of extra functionality, you need to make your own plugin. I doubt, that any company has exactly this already implemented. But make your way on https://marketplace.atlassian.com.
