adding a transition to "Closed" status in Jira Work Manager

We have a project created through Jira Work Manager, a recruiting project for our HR. There are Rejected and Accepted statuses. Sometimes our HR accidentally transfers tasks to this status and cannot return them back because there are no transitions to others in the workflow. It is not possible to add them because the add buttons are not active and the inscription "Add active transition" is also not active in the options. Are my thoughts correct?

1. The project type does not allow editing transitions in the "Closed" status

2. The closed status does not require transition to the opinion of this flow.

Hey @Ivan Andrieiev ,

there are limitations when editing an active workflow. I think that's what you just ran into. :) The project will not block you from editing your workflow.

Have a look at the documentation to better understand what's the issue: Work with issue workflows

You can easily solve the issue, create a copy of the workflow and add your changes. After that associate the new workflow with the workflow scheme used by the project.

Best, Max
