I am trying to add an attachment using rest api in postman and i followed all the steps mentioned in the url (https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-add-an-attachment-to-a-jira-issue-using-rest-api-699957734.html).
still it doesn't add any attachment to the issue and also it doesn't throw any error message also.
What could be the issue? your input is highly appreciated.
Hi @kishore Welcome to the Community!
Found this article on the community that might help https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Add-Attachments-with-REST-API/qaq-p/1583351
Hi @kishore welcome to the community. That article suggested to create a ticket with support if you were still in need of assistance. I would suggest opening a ticket with support (support.atlassian.com/contact) and give Atlassian's support team this detail and they should be able to assist. If you aren't your site's sysadmin, you may need their assistance with creating a ticket.

Hi @Dan Breyen ,
Thanks for your response.. I have raised a support ticket to address this, but I didn't get any response.

I would raise the priority or Escalate if you didn't get a response. I always would get a response from Atlassian support.
