after creating a branch from Jira, its not update in Jira development panel

Hi, This is Shahzaib from an organization. I want to know that, when I am creating a branch from Jira and then do some commits on that branch and push the code to GitHub, then the development panel in Jira ticket is not update? I mean It should be updated which show that how many branches are created or how many commits are done.

FYI: we have get the Jira and GitHub access from our organization.

If you have Jira Software connected to your development tools, the Development panel on each issue should show you information about the commits, branches, pull requests, builds, and more, that are related to the issue. This should help you see discrepancies at a glance, such as issues that have related commits, but are still in the 'To Do' status.
