we are using jira for our incident management and I need to work on below requirement.

we have many groups and email notification works fine. I have exceptional requirement that when a subtask is assigned a specific group email notification should be send out of one more email address. Is that possible?

You could use the script runner plugin and use the builtin listner which fires an event if the assignee is changed and is now a specific user. Or you could use the built in custom email listener of script runner to send an email if your condition is meet.
