approval jira software cloud - step by step

Hi,

i have the following situation.

i have different Epics/Tasks where team mates can make different time logs for overtime hours etc. is there any possibility to add an approval process or a approver mandatory field?

I need a method to check every single timelog insert of the tasks/epics. every insert should be approved by a team leader. This should avoid that team mates can log time how much they want, without approval. 

help please.. :)

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

The approval feature is currently only available for Jira Service Desk projects. With that said, it's not possible to add approval to a Software workflow.

Also, the approver is for status, it's not possible to approve values for custom fields.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

• As an admin, I would like to have the ability to add approval feature project workflow
