autofill summary field for sub-task

How can i auto-fill my sub-task summary with the text: "Immediate Cause"?

The Issue Templates plugin would help with that. You would set up a template issue with only "Immediate Cause" as a summary, so that when you create a subtask in the configured context, this is already filled.

The plugin is a bit costly, but the return on investment is pretty good if you start using templates for other purposes as well.
