automatic assignment of issue when issues is unassigned

If the issue remains unassigned then automatically issue must be assigned to the Project role.

You will need an App that can provide code that can run when you need to make this assignment (post-function if it's in workflow, or a listener if you want it done on assign or edit)

The code will need to make a decision on who is best in the role to assign the issue to somehow.

Hi @Abhishree Nagesh,

Please note that you will not be able to assign the issues in JIRA to project role, you will only be able to assign it to a single user who has Assignable user permission in the project.
