automation - how to generate a file of the issue when it is moved to Done

looking for a way to auto generate a Word or PDF file of the issue when it is moved to Done.

I do not believe there is a built-in way to do that.  Issues can be exported, but there isn't a way to automate that.  You could use an automation rule to send an email (or post a message, such as Slack) when the issue is moved to Done.

As @Bill Sheboy already wrote you will probably need some addon. You can use for example Xporter which can export issue in both word and pdf format and attach it to issue using build in workflow post function: Xporter documentation
