We are having an issue where the basic search is not updating when we switch from one saved filter to another. Toggle to the advanced JQL search bar and the search criteria is updated to show the search criteria and switching to another saved filter shows correctly. Toggle it back to Basic search and it's just stuck showing the same search criteria
Any ideas?
Hello @Phyllis Zhu
Thank you for reaching out.
Per your description, I understand that when you are using Basic search and click to switch between the available filters in the left menu, the search bar and issues returned are not getting updated. Did I understand that correctly?
If that's the problem, please provide us with the following information so we can confirm we're are on the same page and properly troubleshoot the issue:
Let us know if you have any questions.
1. Go to my jira instance, click on any saved filter. See the results, look at search bar.
In basic mode it doesn't show the actual criteria for the search, click on advanced and see the correct JQL statement.
Click on another saved filter - see that basic search criteria doesn't update. Go to advanced and the JQL is correct
See screenshot in order of actions performed: onlineapps-basic, then advanced, perform-advanced, then basic
2. I don't think this applies, I do not sort any columns and the filters I tried specifically here do not have any sorting in the JQL
3. tried incognito and different browser (safari), same thing still happens
See screenshot set - LMS incognito -advanced and -shows perform
