Currently using a swim lane board by STORY.  I would really like for each story to show as a swim lane; even the stories that don't have sub-tasks.  Is there a way to get all stories to show the same way even if they don't have sub-tasks?

The stories without sub-tasks are being grouped together is an "other issues" category or row at the bottom of the board.  Once expanded these stories show as cards (not rows).

The board has a very different look for stories with sub-tasks vs stories that don't have sub-tasks. Why can't they be listed the exact same way just without the sub-tasks?

Hi @Scott Thurston

The reason why they aren't all listed regardless of subtasks is because how do you progress the parent? Currently, you progress each subtask through the workflow.

It has been like this for years and I doubt it will change. Putting the burden on you and your team, try to ensure that every story has at least 1 subtask then it isn't an issue

Thanks for taking the time to answer.  I guess we have to live with it, but I really would like it to show all the stories the same way.
