calculated number formula for subtasks

Hello,

 

We are using subtasks for contractors and are adding in their billing amount.  We would like to have the billing amounts from all the subtasks to appear in a calculated field on the parent issue.  Is this possible?  If so, please tell me how or kindly direct me to documentation for formulas and such.
