calling Jira rest/api using Oauth Athentication

I was told that Oauth Authentication 2.0 has not been implemented for Jira rest/API.  Per the documentation you need to use Oauth 1.0a.  We have Oauth 2.0 installed.  Can you have 2 different versions of Oauth installed for jira?  We want to use OAuth Authentication in conjunction with the rest/API but we have Oauth 2.0.

Hello Nannette,

It looks like you are looking for a way to authenticate your REST APIs using OAuth 2.0.

You can use our plugin which supports OAuth 2.0.

You can find the Plugin link here: mO Jira OAuth

Here is the step-by-step guide to configure SSO. Feel free to reach out to the support team through the customer portal in case if you need any assistance to set up the plugin for your use case.

P.S I work for the miniOrange, the vendor of the plugin I suggested above.

Thanks,

Aditya Kekre
