can I create a Custom Field in nextgen that rolls up to a story??

I'd like to create a custom field in nextgen

I want this custom field to be "below" a story in hierarchy; ie rolls up to a story

I'd want to be able to create this custom field and have multiple entries in it that roll up to a Story

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Currently, for next-gen projects, all custom fields are created directly in the project, since it's independent and no configuration is shared with other projects.
To create the custom fields and reorder it, you must go to the Project settings > Issue types > Select the desired issue type and on this screen, you can create, remove and reorder the custom fields.
