can I mandate JIRA ID (cloud version) while creating bitbucket branches (datacenter addition)

i have JIRA (Cloud ) version and Bit bucket (data center edition) in my org. and it is also integrated . but in the branch creation is we are unable to mandate the jira id for establishing the linkages. between both tools. we tried a configuration by enabling JIRA issue comit checker against a project. but we were able to create branch without jira id as well.

Hi @Simmya SK and welcome,

please specify how you put in place datacenter/cloud integration using application links. Keep in mind that, in order to create branches from your JIRA cloud instance, you bitbucket datacenter instance should be reachable from web.
