i need to add SLA to some software development projects (Scrum or Kanban) can i do that ?
Hello @Essam Issa
Unfortunately, it's unavailable to add SLA from JSM to Jira Software Projects.
As an alternative, you can try the add-on from the Atlassian Marketplace - SLA Time and Report developed by my SaaSJet team. It allows setting SLAs for all project types (JSM, Jira Software, Jira Core) easily.
Hope it helps.
The software development life cycle is one of a project's most essential elements, no matter the size. However, some companies are trying to introduce this method into their projects, resulting in disastrous results.

Hi Essam - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
SLA functionality is only available for Jira Service Management (JSM) projects.

"SLA" fields are not enabled in Jira Software.
But, maybe you could emulate something like that using "due date" or a "date picker" type custom field to set up a target date for the issue. You could initialize and update the date using automation rule.
