We want to capture feedback on every sprint to show justifications/reasons for both success and failure sprints.

I am thinking if we can add a code to existing onclick function of "complete Sprint" and say we prompt a window with text field if there are no open tickets.

In case of open ticket JIRA have a pop up window to either move open tickets to backlog, can we add a new text field in this window and map it to any of existing input fields i have in my JIRA?

Hello @MuraliKakaravnei

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, Jira does not have an inbuilt feature to add extra fields in the "Complete Sprint" pop-up, however, we have a feature request created to implement that:

Add an sprint fullfillment atruibute at complete sprint popup

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

Today, you can add automatic messages to the issues of the completed Sprint using automation for jira, optionally using some conditions to add different pre-created messages to the issues. However, it is not possible to add a fully customized message when clicking on the button to complete a Sprint.

Let us know if you have any questions.
