can we restore the story from jira which was deleted by mistake

Acceidentally deleted  a story from epic, is there a way can we restore it back

Hi @Shyam Koppu 

There is no option to restore a story in Jira if you don't have a backup. You can only see the info about the deleted issue in the audit log.

The things you can do to prevent losing deleted tasks in the future:

- Disable permission for the regular users and allow it to admins only.

- Back up your projects. 

- Get the app from the Atlassian Marketplace. 

I can recommend Issue History for Jira, the add-on developed by my team. It has the option to recover deleted tasks. But it works only after the app is installed and the "Keep deleted issues" toggle is activated.

Unfortunately in jira you can't restore an issue already deleted 

The solution is to use other ad-ones to use this feature 

You can youse Team Activity Stream which you can restore your issues with its data also .
