can we update JIRA base URL as an Admin?

Please give me info. I have tried as an admin to change Base URL  from SYSTEM--> General settings. But there is no option to edit/update Base url.

If the option to change the base url is greyed out, then it is likely that you are on a Cloud Jira system, where you can not change the base url.

The base url must be the single url that your users will use for access.  On a Cloud system, the url is chosen when you buy the system and hence the base url has to match it.  Cloud does not have a way to change the url you choose (yet), beyond "buy a new one and migrate to it"
