change of mail.

We have a user who had a change in his email domain from @[deleted].cl to @[deleted].com, but he continues to use @[deleted].cl as an alias.

Now he can't log in to Jira, is this due to the change of domain? Should I give him access to the new mail or can I somehow generate an alias or something?
