change original estimate to remaining time- backlog

All calculations on the backlog page are based on the original estimate. How can I change this to be based on remaining time? Also, velocity is showing based on the original estimate—how can I change it to be based on remaining time?

I found how to display remaining estimate on each ticket/card in active sprint view but not in the backlog view

you can configure estimation to show remaining time instead of original estimate.

• Go to your board settings:
  • Click on the board name in the top left.
  • Select “Board settings”.
• Click on "Estimation" in the left menu.
• Change Estimation Type:
  • Choose between:
    • Story points
    • Original Time Estimate
    • Remaining Time Estimate
• Select "Remaining Time Estimate"
• Save Changes

Jira will calculate sprint capacity and progress using Remaining Time instead

Hello!

Unfortunately, there is no such option as "Remaining Time Estimate". The only options we see are
- Story points
- Original time estimate
- Issue count

This means we have no actual way to effectively estimate and plan a sprint due to items carried over from one sprint to another reporting its entire original estimate.
