change status of Issue within issue

I'm starting to try out Jira Business projects because we need a solution for smaller teams and smaller projects outside of software developement. 

I can't change the status of an issue in the issue - only by drag an drop into a different colum or in the list view. 

Is there a way to enable this? What am I missing?

You must have already the permission to transition them - Transition issues, otherwise you won't be able to transition them at all.

What exactly happens when you click on the blue (in this case) " In Progress " status? Are you able to see the entries for other statuses and click something?

Maybe the workflow scheme prevents jumping from ToDo to Done, for example and you didn't catch that?

The permission to transition has "any logged in user" 

When i click on the status - in this case In Progress - nothing happens. I don't see the other status like normal. 

The Workflos allows to transition every status to every status.

So I tried again and now it works..i changed nothing! So I guess Jira didin't like me yesterday.
