changing renderer of a field without effecting other project

Hi all, I need change the renderer of a field to wiki style renderer but there are 2 projects associated with it. i need it to be configured for only 1 project. How can I do this?

Go to the field configuration in use for the two projects.  Copy it to a new name.  Change the renderer for the field in the new field configuration.  Go to the project to change and apply the new field configuration you just created.
