clean up workflows

Hai,

We want to clean up workflows within Jira. I see a lot of Workflows are duplicated in it when creating a new project then the abbreviation of the project is added here. can you get rid of this by just choosing a default workflow this is within the Company-managed software projects. Who has experience with this?

I've been experiencing the duplicated workflows. I've found an app named Optimizer for Jira that did a good job of cleaning up duplicated workflows, custom fields that were not used at all.
