column Comments in Issue Navigator

JIRA7.4.4

When selecting columns to show in the Issue Navigator - I select the column Comments but does not get any result what so ever in the column.

1, I add comments in my issues by open and then enter text in the comments field - no result in the column Comments.

2 I use the three dots ... on the issue and select Comment in the drop down menu - no result in the column Comments. Where can I find this comment?

Where is the entry for the column Comments? Where do you enter text and get it to be shown here?

Hello,

I guess the Comments custom field is a created by someone in your Jira custom field.

Out of the box you can not see comments in the Issue Navigator.
