connecting helix-alm to jira (rest url)

ORAN MATZA June 2, 2021

Hello

We evaluating the helix-alm (formerly seapine) in conjunction with jira server on-premiss.

In the helix, in Tools->Administration->extermal provider integration (formerly Jira integration) there is a window to put user, password and url of the jira.

I put there http://server_ip:port/ and I got api/v1/plugins/configuration/connection/validate does not exist.

I asked the support of helix and they said "The URL needs to point to the JIRA REST API".

When I open a web browser and insert http://192.168.200.6:8080/rest/api/2/project I get a list of our projects. so what is the rest api base ?

cause I tried to put http://192.168.200.6:8080   http://192.168.200.6:8080/rest   http://192.168.200.6:8080/rest/api    http://192.168.200.6:8080/rest/api/2 and hit test, to test the connection to jira but I still get api/v1/plugins/configuration/connection/validate does not exist.

Also I installed the helix plugin from the "Helix ALM for Jira" and saw that there is a place to configure Jira integration key.

from where I take it ?

Anyone can help ?

Thanks
