control a custom field edition using other custom field user value

I have a single user picker custom field with name (Review Leader)

and other single select custom field with name (Approval) -> yes/No

I want to allow only the user from the "Review leader" should only be able to edit "Approval" field. Other users shouldn't have the permission to edit "Approval" field value.

Is that possible in jira cloud? kindly someone help!

There is not a feature specifically to set Edit permissions per field, but there is a work around.
