how to convert an existing jira cloud business kanban project to a next gen kanban project  in jira cloud

you don't convert the Kanban board, you move the issues from the Classic project to a NG project. Here is some info should you choose to go that path but I recommend consider this carefully as you will loose any flexibility you may be leveraging in Classic.
