Did you mean:

could not connect jira to Confluence

Mydesq Support July 31, 2019

Dear Team,

We are trying to setup Application link between Jira ServiceDesk and Confluence.
While Setting up the application link, we are getting the following error message:

Invalid OAuth Signature
We could not connect to Confluence, possibly because that instance is behind a misconfigured proxy

Settings which I have done on both the sides:

-> Outgoing and Incoming connections used as Oauth (Impersonation) on both the side.
-> Enter the Application URL with external IP address

Could you please suggest the solution asap?
It would be really appreciative?

Thanks

Hi @Mydesq Support ,

the message you're seeing :

We could not connect to Confluence, possibly because that instance is behind a misconfigured proxy

means that there is a problem with the network between both instances. You should have a look at the documentation to debug this : https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/network-and-connectivity-troubleshooting-guide-720405335.html
