create db for all Jira issues in db (Azure)

Hi,

Is it possible to export all Jira issues into sql or other db, let say on Azure and to work on this data to crate custom complex reporting.

The final goal is to create complex dashboard /reporting solution. Alas I can not achieve this using  built in Jira dashboard  and/or 3rd party apps.

I suspect the answer is "yes", and the data could be obtained using webhooks or the REST API functions.

However, and without knowing your specific reporting needs, you may instead want to investigate reporting options from the Atlassian Marketplace rather than replicating the Jira-stored data elsewhere.

Perhaps first try:

• identify what problems are you trying to solve; that is, "why do this"
• identify what reports / visualizations would help
• review examples of how you do this today
• review what is available in the marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/

This decision is driven by  need to create complex dashboards, which are not available in Jira. 

So fare I'm trying  to use SQL Connect by AlphaServ, my target db will be SQL or Azure
