customize an "Issue layout" via the Jira REST API

I would like to customize an "Issue layout" via the Jira REST API, but unfortunately, I couldn't find the relevant information in the documentation (https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/).
Is there an interface or a workaround for this?

Each Project has the option to specify the layout of a Issue type. is it possible to define the layout of a issue via rest api ? 

Im developing a forge app, which creates a project with different issue types. i would like to have a specific issue layout for each issue type.
