Today when chatting with a colleague in a different time zone he pointed out that the jira comments were showing the same time for each of us. I created a comment at 926am and he also saw it at 926am but he is in a different time zone.
He should have been seeing it in his local time I would have thought 826 am.
This seems like a bug to me.
Is this prevalent throughout all of jira cloud? How does this impact JSM and SLAs across time zones then?
Jira by default is configured to have all users in the same time zone. The easiest way around this is to have your coworker configure his/her profile to reflect their time zone.
This link should help with finding those settings - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-your-jira-personal-settings/
