I am wondering if it is possible to start Jira on Glassfish? I have a dedicated server for internal applications where a few web-apps running(eg. wiki.setupit.org, doc.setupit.org, jenkins.setupit.org etc.). Server manages requests according to domain names as an embedded option of Glassfish.  I'd like to set up Jira there as one more application (jira.setupit.org) rather than run it as a separate application server on tomcat and separate port(8080). I am wondering If it is possble to download a *.war of jira to deploy it on Glassfish? If yes where can I get it from? What kind of configuration required to run it this way?

It's possible, in theory, but there's no distribution available.  You'd need to unpack a Tomcat based Jira install, pull Jira out of it, and rebundle it as a package for Glassfish.

This is a lot of hard work for zero benefits.
