does jira software version 7.2.4 support edit dashboard permission?

I am supporting jira  7.2.4 software one user raised a ticket that he is unable to edit shared dashboard and edit permission is not there I could not give him edit permission

Sharing and editing your dashboard
You can edit the details for your dashboard, and restrict or share with other users according to the
permissions that are set. In addition, you can see all the dashboards you've created, any public dashboards,
and any shared dashboards.
Click > Edit/Share > Add sharing permissions.
Edit the settings. 

So, It should be editable by the person created. 

Alternatively, you can connect Support.
