drag and drop issues to the Closed column

Hi all, 

Having a scrum project with a simplified workflow i would like to know what permission is necessary to have to drag and drop issues to closed column on the board.

Is it enough "Browse permission"?  Or "transition issues". I would like to know one option as an answer. Which one is correct?

Hi @Cristina - Elena Andrei 

I would say that the required permission are:

• Browse permission, to be able to see the issue
• Transition issues to be able to trigger a transition
• Close Issue (not sure about this one)
• Resolve Issue to be able to set a resolution

You may need further permission if you customize the Workflow of the issues in the board.

The "Browse projects" permission only enables you to see the issues in a project. It doesn't enable you to do anything with those issues.

A user would need multiple permissions in this case:

- Browse Projects

- Transition Issues

If the Resolution field is being set when the issue moves to that column then the user also needs

- Resolve Issues

- Close Issues
