Im troubleshooting some errors in Jira, and I just realized that there are many errors like:

"Can not forward a request to HipChat API", followed by connection timeouts. My Production env is behind FWs, proxies and this kind of stuff ... so it's normal that connections not explicitly approved are failing.

But, what is HipChat ? (i google a bit on this, but don't know its relation to jira ) I don't think I activated it, is this enabled by default? Can I disable some plugin or option to stop this error?
