error message epic does not exist

I cannot link an existing Story to an Epic.

I get this message "error message e does not exist"

Hi @Ola Kuteyi  Check project permission, you must have Link Issue and Edit Issue permission then only you can link Story to an EPIC. 

Do the Story and Epics use the same project? Or are they different projects? If different, make sure they are using the same Permission Scheme or the Permission Schemes to each one allow the linking and edit issue.
