existing jira license7.11.0 work for new version 8.2.3?

hello team,

I had buy  jira  licence for 7.11.0  and is it working now but now  i want to upgrade jira software new version in 8.2.3. will the existing licence work for new version? or i should buy new license for new version. please help me?

Hello,

The license will work for 8.2.3. You do not need to buy a new license.As long as you still have maintenance.
