Hi Vedant,

You will need to examine the logs to determine why this is happening.  You can look in the JIRA_HOME/log/atlassian-jira.log or the JIRA_INSTALL/logs/catalina.out for a line that says JIRA Starting. 

From there you can look for the last few lines to see what the error is.  Most startup issues can be fixed using Troubleshooting JIRA Startup Failed Error.  If you can't find the issue using that article provide the last 20 lines or so in the logs so we can see what's going on.
