Did recently changed the format of checkbox type fields?
Now it is not a dropdown menu with the option to tick the checkbox, but it is the complete list that is open on the field. Advantage is that is shows all options in one view, but as we have quiet longs list of options to choose from the screen has a very bad impression because you don't see any fields in your screen as the list of options fills te screen.

In my mind that was not always the case, but I'm nor sure.

Hello @jeroen_wilmes

Yes, Atlassian changed the appearance of the checkbox and radiobutton fields in the UI kit just over a year ago.

I remember voting for a feature request to have them reconsider that for the radiobutton field, as the result is kinda clunky and not in keeping with other GUIs. The feature request to change radiobutton is JRACLOUD-78516

There were similar feature requests related to changing the behaviour of checkbox, such as JRACLOUD-82430, but there are others if you search around Jira.Atlassian for a while
