I want to generate the daily hours logged by the Jira user for particular task. Currently the field Time Spent is giving the cumulative time spent, but not the per day hours. Please provide the guidance to get daily reports on "Time Spent"
i use Time Reports for Jira Cloud.
it works well and is fairly priced IMO.
note: i am in no way associated w/ the addon and there are others that I'm sure would work just as well or better so research a bit.

Is it ok to generate it programatically or what is your exact usecase? Jira has worklog manager in its API which is able to load worklogs for issue:
