getting error invalid value passes to custom field 37504 and allowed values are XX XXXX

Hi we have no custom fields in 10 jira projects and there is one custom field like Approval and the values in drop down for this custom field are 

1 NA

2 Approved 

3 Pending 

4 Rejected 

when user updating the issue they are getting error in valid value passed to custom field  Approval [37504] allowed values are [32026]  [32027]  [32028]  [32029], - 1

(user not updating this custom field but still they are getting the error )

moreover i can see that the value for this field is already "Approved" on view screen but it is showing as "None"  when i am editing the issue 

Can somebody help me in this error :(
