We have an Jira production instance having 7.1.9 version which comes closer to end . We wanted to do upgrade it o later version 7.9.2 . We need suggestions and docs to make it happen smoothly since it has huge data .
Please help us with solutions for the following :
1. Is it recommended to do upgrade 7.1.9 jira software to 7.9.2? Can we directly do upgrade to the latest version(7.9.2)? Or If not why ? or suggest the stable version so we can follow
that .
2. We are using the mysql database . Which mysql version supports to the latest version jira 7.9.2 ?
3. Need some procedure docs for upgrading the jira . Kindly help us with neat info and help us which method suits to prod environments.
4. FYI : We have SSL setup, Same jira user base to confluence and integrated with bitbucket cloud .
