Hi,
I hope that some one can help me. I have an urgent matter.
We collaborate with external parties and we allow them access our projects.
We can set all screens and security scheme exactly as we need, except for one thing:
The work logs in the activity stream on each ticket. In that work log you can see how log work.
We don't want our partner to see that, above all we are not allowed to share that data by GDPR.
Has any one experience how to hide work logs in activity stream?
Hi @jeroen_wilmes ,
did u try to remove all permissions in the Time Tracking section in the Permission Scheme? This should be enough to hide that tab.
Let me know,
Fabio
Yes, I tried. It doesn't solve the problem. A reply from the support desk confirmed that is is not possible to hide the worklogs from the activity stream.
This means that when logging time and if you don't want everyone to be able to see the time logs, that you have a problem in Jira that cannot be solved.
I have escalated the ticket as by the nature of Jira we can not use Jira for collaboration with third parties.and customers.
I think it needs broader attention and I hope people will be informed about this aspect.
