If I create a project by template, there are several items predefined, which is fine (issuetypes, workflow etc all can be changed, which is fine also.)
but how can I define defaults for the list view or the calendar or the Board?
e.g I define a workflow for an epic and another for a task. I open the board and the epic is allways preselected no matter what.
I open the list and there are allways no filters active. I want to define preselections.
Can I define quickfilter for the board? Swimlanes? can I combine two states in one row? Can I define gadgets for the summary view?

the short answer is no. It is not possible to create presets for these settings.
Also if you set filters and so on, these are active for your account only.

yes, after you create the project you can modify things. For example, if you are using a CMP the go to Board settings and choose things like Quick filters, Swimlanes, Columns, etc. if you are using TMP there are similar options to configure. The bottom line is, if an option is configurable, it can be configured, regardless of the template used to create your project.

that is only possible for the Kanban or scrum boards which are only usabel if u create a software kanban or scrum project. Other project templates like marketing campaign project deliver other boards which cannot be configured at all. AND u dont know what is going to be delivered cause there is no documentation about the tempkates att all.. or I am wrong?

yes that is very close but only for the service management projects... I am lokking for those according to software and business

I see.. Thank u but unfortunately this does not represent all the available templates afaik. or am I wrong?
if I create a project I can choose from tons of project templates like scrum, kanban, bug report and marketing templates and project management templates and design templates but I couldnt find anything about their predefined configuration

The templates are frequently being updated. Given my many years of experience developing products the unfortunate realization of documentation not keeping up with product is oh too real. ☹️

But I have to admit it is a little bit painfull, that i cant configure list view that remains or is possible to roll out to the entire team... same as with the boards (not Scrum or Kanban) to refilter and readjust the fields the sorting and the order of the fields in the list view every single time is not practically usefull
