Hello,
How can I assign from a custom field option?
For example, there is a project B option in the project picker custom field. I want to make a user assignment when there is B selection in the custom field in the issue create stage.

Thank you for your ideas and help.

Kind regards

Hi @serkan_sezer

I highly recommend you to use the Component. Create each component with Component lead as A, B, C, D, etc... like below

Then you will have a field 'Component' in the issue screen when create it.

For example, when you chose component 'A' in the issue field, this will automatically assign the issue for 'Kha Dang' like the picture above.

I hope this helps!

Thank you for the answer. I know the way you're talking about but it doesn't work for me. Our customer is doing the issue creation. so it chooses its own project from the project picker custom field. I want to assigne according to the selection in the project picker custom field.

In this case, I think you can use Automation to auto assign the issue. You can see below the picture.

You can choose:

Trigger: when issue created

Condition: Project equals 'Project A'

Action: Assign the issue to a group/role/specify user
