Hi. i noticed that sometimes a subtask is not generated for a workflow that is designed to generate a subtask if certain fields are populated on an issue. this workflow has been in place for years. I'd like to identify the criteriea required to generate the subtask so that i can compare field values with issues that successfully generated a subtask with those that didn't.

How is the workflow triggering the creation of the sub-tasks? Automation, Scripting, app-provided post-function?
We can't really tell you a lot about the rules for creation - they've been built in your system by one of your admins, using one of the things I've mentioned, and to work out the rules, you'd need to see the config of it!
