how do i get jira admin access to be able to create new status

how do i get jira admin access to be able to create new status, My admin is struggling to assign me the admin access.

Hi @Mahesh M Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Kindly contact your JIRA Admin for getting Admin access on JIRA instance, or you can ask JIRA Admin to create status for you.

Right approach is to ask JIRA admin for creating new status instead for asking JIRA admin permission.
