I'd like to be able to suppress notifications for sub-task creation, editing, or otherwise from a specific project role. Scenario I'm trying to create.
"Project Watchers" get email notifications of basically everything in a specific project. This is basically not going to change. However We would like to start auto creating sub-tasks on a certain event and the "project watchers" don't want to get emails about these sub-tasks. Maybe if they are tagged but if I need to train people to comment on the parent ticket that's an acceptable work around.
How would I do this? I think I can do this directly in the workflow but not sure what parameter I would need to do so. We have Automation for Jira and Jira Misc Workflows Extensions installed as tools we can use here.
